The Dowling Hearing Company, now known as Coastal Hearing, has been a cornerstone of audiological care in North Wales for over six decades. Established in 1961 by Michael Dowling, the practice has remained a family-run business, dedicated to providing personalised hearing solutions to the community
In 1991, Michael's son, Adrian Dowling, joined the practice after completing his training at The Royal National ENT Hospital in London. With over 30 years of experience, Adrian has continued the family legacy, emphasising patient-centered care and the integration of advanced hearing technologies. Under his leadership, the practice has expanded its services, including the introduction of satellite clinics in Mold, Anglesey, Colwyn Bay and Prestatyn, enhancing accessibility for patients across the region.
Throughout its history, the Dowling family's commitment to excellence has positioned Coastal Hearing as a trusted provider of audiological services, offering comprehensive hearing assessments, state-of-the-art hearing aids, tinnitus management, hearing protection and ear wax removal. Their dedication to the community and continuous adaptation to technological advancements underscore the practice's enduring reputation in North Wales.
